What exactly does Anggrek do?
Anggrek designs, produces and builds custom exhibition stands. We guide the entire process with us (Coen and Linda) as your single point of contact: from the initial idea and design through to build-up, dismantling and logistics. This lets you focus fully on a successful trade fair participation.
Which trade fairs do you build stands for?
We build exhibition stands for trade fairs, consumer fairs and international events, as well as, for example, conferences and open days. We do this in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and other European countries.
At which trade fair venues do you build stands?
We build stands at every trade fair venue in the Netherlands and Europe. Think of RAI Amsterdam, Jaarbeurs Utrecht, Ahoy Rotterdam, Brabanthallen ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Evenementenhal Gorinchem, Autotron Rosmalen and MECC Maastricht.
We are also active at many international trade fair venues in Germany, such as Koelnmesse in Cologne, Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Hamburg, Messe München, Messe Berlin, Messe Frankfurt, Messe Stuttgart, NürnbergMesse and all other well-known venues in Germany, France, Belgium and the rest of Europe.
Do you only build exhibition stands?
No. In addition to stand building, we also realise office interiors, reception areas, canteens, showrooms, studios and other custom projects. So if you’re looking for an interior for a particular space, feel free to get in touch without obligation and we’ll be happy to explore the possibilities together.
Can you also arrange furniture and lighting?
Yes. We provide complete exhibition interiors, including furniture, lighting, flooring, counters, bars, displays, signage and audiovisual applications. This is included as standard in every design, so you always receive a complete concept covering every item.
Do you also help with preparing for the trade fair?
Absolutely. We think along with you about the layout, visitor routing, product presentation, technical facilities and practical matters surrounding your trade fair participation. And if you have any questions while preparing for the fair, we’re happy to help.
Can you handle multiple trade fair participations per year?
Yes. Many clients take part in several trade fairs every year. We make sure your stand’s look and feel remains recognisable, while each stand can be adapted to the available space, target audience or purpose of the fair. This creates a consistent brand experience across all fairs, while keeping the practical and functional essentials in place.

Design
Can you design a stand for us if we don't have an idea yet?
Certainly. Many clients come to us without a concrete design or idea. Often it’s just a few small details you’ve already thought about that form the basis for the stand design. Based on your corporate identity, target audience, trade fair objectives and budget, we develop a unique stand concept.
How does the design process work?
We start with a personal conversation to discuss your wishes. We then create an initial design with 2D and 3D visualisations. After any adjustments, we develop the design into a complete exhibition stand.
Can you design a fully custom exhibition stand?
Yes. Every stand is designed around your company, target audience and trade fair objectives. We translate your corporate identity into a stand that attracts visitors and invites them to get to know your company. So every exhibition stand is a bespoke design.
How long does it take to design an exhibition stand?
Depending on the size of the project, designing usually takes anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Ideally, though, you start three to six months before the fair. We always align the planning with the fair date so everything is ready in time. Of course, we can also help with projects that have a shorter lead time.
Can I have a design made first?
Yes. We start with a no-obligation conversation to discuss your wishes. We then create a suitable initial design that gives you a clear picture of the final exhibition stand, from which we can hopefully move towards the perfect stand for your wishes, company and trade fair participation.
How do you make sure my stand stands out?
That starts with a strong concept. We look at sightlines, colours, lighting, height, visitor routing and how visitors experience your stand. The goal is to turn passers-by into visitors.
How much influence do I have on the design?
A great deal. We believe the best exhibition stand comes from collaboration. You know your products, customers and objectives best. We translate that knowledge, combined with our extensive experience, into a compelling design.

What does an exhibition stand cost?
The cost of an exhibition stand depends on various factors, such as the number of square metres, the design, materials, lighting, audiovisual equipment and custom work. That’s why we always prepare a quote based on your wishes, objectives and budget, so you know exactly where you stand.
Can you also build a small exhibition stand?
Yes, absolutely! We regularly design and build stands of 6, 9 and 14 m², so those are certainly not large stands. But even with a compact stand, we can create a lot of impact. Through smart layout, lighting and custom details, we make sure your company stands out.
Do you rent out exhibition stands?
Yes, we do. Many components of our stands are available for rent. This means you benefit from lower costs, maximum flexibility, and you don’t need to worry about storage or maintenance.
Is custom stand building more expensive?
Not always. Custom work doesn’t have to be unaffordable. Through smart material choices and reuse, we can create a unique stand within virtually any budget.
Collaboration process
Do you also arrange the build-up and dismantling?
Yes. We (Coen and Linda) and our team take care of the complete build-up and dismantling of your exhibition stand. You don’t need to worry about a thing.
Can you also handle communication with the trade fair organiser?
Yes. We can take care of things such as technical requests, construction forms, power supply arrangements and other practical matters.
How long does it take to build an exhibition stand?
This varies per project. Once the design is approved, we carefully plan production, so the stand is ready well in time for the fair.
When should I start planning my exhibition stand?
Ideally, you start three to six months before the fair. For larger international projects, it’s wise to start even earlier. Of course, we can also help with projects that have a shorter lead time.
Do you also work internationally?
Yes. We regularly build stands at international trade fairs across Europe and also take care of the logistics and coordination involved. So virtually any location is possible! We’re happy to discuss this with you.
