Looking for a stand builder for SMM? We’re happy to help. And as you can see here, you don’t need a large booth to stand out. Standing out with a small booth is also possible! This booth from Innovative Navigation was on display at Europort in Rotterdam. A 14m² booth, incorporating all the client’s requirements. Until 2023, the booth design always consisted of standard stand construction from the trade show organizers, which they then furnished themselves with a few pieces of furniture and TV screens. As they themselves indicated, this was never very attractive and very time-consuming!

Advantage of a professional stand builder

This brings us directly to the first advantage of a professional stand builder like us: it looks beautiful, well-maintained, and convincing! And you have more time for other things. Moreover, as stand builders, we have a wealth of insights and ideas thanks to our experience in construction and design. With this stand design, the client was worried that not everything would fit within the 14 m². The choice of a specific type or types of exhibition stand depends on various requirements and factors such as budget, objectives, and available space on the exhibition floor. It’s therefore wise to consider these factors when choosing a stand type.

Type Head stand construction

The first stand type we’ll discuss is the HEAD stand. This type of stand has only one enclosed side at the back wall. The remaining sides are open to the aisles, allowing visitors to enter from three aisles: the front, left, and right. This immediately presents a major advantage. Another advantage is that a head stand is often less expensive than an island stand in terms of square meters for the trade show organizers.

So the advantages are:

• High accessibility due to the 3 aisles all around, which ensures attention and is easily accessible for visitors
• Often cheaper than an island stand in terms of m2
• Easier to set up than an island stand
• Offers many possibilities for creative stand design
• Options to place signage, presentation space and storage on the back wall

A disadvantage is that there is a limited amount of wall space, which can be important for product presentation (however, this can always be filled with custom stand construction if desired)

Disadvantages are:

• Limited wall space
• Less conspicuous than an island stand that is accessible from 4 sides
• Often a lot of square meters that you have to purchase from the organization
