For the Horecava, L1nda and YoungOnes asked us a special question: “We’re going to be exhibiting together at the trade fair – how do we bring that together practically and visually in one stand?”
The challenge lay not only in the collaboration itself, but also in the new dimensions of the stand. The goal was to reuse the previous year’s design – which was perceived as professional and stylish – as a basis. This time, however, it was adapted to a shared stand, with space for two brands that wanted to maintain their own identities.
L1nda and YoungOnes collaborate closely and, as a combination, offer a strong product. However, both brands have their own distinct look, color scheme, imagery, and tone of voice. How do you immediately convey to Horecava visitors that these are two companies without making the stand cluttered or confusing?
Moreover, the end result should not compromise the appearance of the previous year: professional, inviting and recognisable.
We chose a calm, open design as our starting point. By keeping the stand bright and uncluttered, we created space for both companies to express their identities.
With large visuals for each brand, a shared counter with a warm atmosphere, and greenery as a unifying element, we created cohesion without blurring the differences. The floor, angled, gave the stand its own unique touch, both literally and figuratively. And with a stylish coffee machine at the counter, everyone immediately felt welcome.
During construction, we started with the sloping floor, followed by the walls and canopy. Each step contributed to the stand’s appearance. As always, we handled the entire process: from design to completion – a full-service experience, allowing the client to focus on the trade show itself.
